Restoring a purchase
Charters and the Deep Survey Pass are tied to your Apple Account, so a new phone or a reinstall does not cost you them. Open the store from the main menu and tap Restore Purchases at the bottom, signed in with the same Apple Account you bought them on.
If a purchase does not come back, mail us the date and the approximate time of the purchase and we will look it up.
Progress after a reinstall
Purchases restore. Run progress does not. Credits, upgrades, and your run history are stored only on the device, because the game has no account and no server — so deleting the app clears them, and we have no copy to give back. Cloud save is on the list for a later version.
Requirements
- iPhone. The game is portrait-only and does not ship an iPad layout yet.
- A connection is needed only to make or restore a purchase. Everything else works offline.
- Android is not available at launch.
Reporting a bug
Four things make a report actionable, and the fourth is the one people leave out:
- Your device and iOS version.
- What you expected, and what happened instead.
- The seed of the run, shown on the summary screen after a loss. Sectors are fully deterministic, so a seed lets us reproduce your exact board.
- The turn number it happened on.
Beta feedback
If you are on the TestFlight, three answers are worth more than a general impression:
- Did you finish a run?
- What turn did you lose on?
- What did you not understand?
The third is the important one. If something about claiming, power, or the blight was unclear, that is a fault in the game and not in you — and it is exactly what a beta is for.
Refunds
Purchases go through Apple, so refunds do too. Use reportaproblem.apple.com, or write to us and we will help you make the case.
Managing a subscription
The Deep Survey Pass renews monthly until cancelled. Cancel any time in the iOS Settings app under your Apple Account → Subscriptions. Cancelling leaves you access until the end of the period you have paid for.
Privacy
See the privacy policy. In short: no account, no server, no analytics, no tracking.
